Our mission is to promote athleticism and integrity through sports by playing family friendly roller derby.

Who are we?​
    Mad Divas Junior Derby is a co-ed, flat-track, full contact roller derby league for youths between the ages of 12 and 17. We are official members of JRDA, the Junior Roller Derby Association. 

      Junior Roller Derby is a place where youths learn team work, good values, discipline, interaction, and stewardship through the competitive sport of Flat Track Roller Derby!

 

What is Junior Roller Derby?
Junior Roller Derby is a contact sport played on roller skates. Two teams of 5 skaters are on a track competing against each other to get the most points by their designated skater, the jammer, passing the other team's blockers as many times as they can per 2 minute jam. The team with the most points at the end of two 30 minute periods that make up a bout wins! To learn even more you can read all of the rules at WFTDA.com

When is our season?
Our season runs from January through November with the months of July and December off. We at Smoky Sk8way located at 19025 Great Smoky Mountain Expressway, Waynesville, NC 28786

Dues per month - $60

Skating Insurance per year- $40
